UNIKOR FT Battery
Charging and Performance Overview
The UNIKOR FT Battery is designed with specific charging parameters, discharge characteristics, and cycle life expectations to ensure reliable performance in various applications. This guidance provides users with optimized settings for float and boost charging, expected cycle life based on depth of discharge (DOD), and typical discharge curves to help in managing battery longevity and efficiency.
Charging Parameters
  • Constant Voltage Charging
Lower initial cost, ideal for high-rate discharge, compact size.
    • Boost Voltage
      14.0 - 14.4V for 12V batteries
    • Float Voltage
      13.8V for 12V batteries
  • Current Limit
Minimum of 10% of rated capacity at 25°C.
Cyclic Life
  • Contact Information
The battery’s cycle life depends on the depth of discharge (DOD). Higher DOD reduces cycle life, while lower DOD extends it.
  • Cycle Life Expectation
    • 100% DOD
      Approximately 300 cycles
    • 80% DOD
      Approximately 600 cycles
    • 50% DOD
      Approximately 900 cycles
    • 30% DOD
      Approximately 1500 cycles
    • 15% DOD
      Up to 3000 cycles
Discharge Curve
  • Discharge Characteristics
Illustrated discharge curves depict typical battery capacity at 25°C, with C10 representing the nominal capacity at a 10-hour discharge rate.
  • Performance
These curves show how the battery capacity decreases over time under different loads, helping users predict runtime and plan for recharging
    based on operational needs.
